Paralympics 2016: Ukraine cracks the top 3 of the medal standings

Паралимпиада-2016: Украина врывается в топ-3 медального зачетаOn the second day of the Paralympic games in Rio de Janeiro Ukrainian athletes won 15 medals.

The winners of the Paralympics on the eve of steel Inna Cherniak (judo), Igor Colours (athletics, 100m), Gennady Boiko, Maxim Kripak, Mr Zalewski and Kateryna Istomina (all swimming).

Owners of silver awards were Olga Kovalchuk (bullet shooting), Dmitri Soloviev and Irina Guseva (both judo), Eugene Bogotano and Oksana Khrul (both swimming).

Bronze at the Paralympic games was won by Anton Kol, Sergey Palamarchuk Irina Sotk, Denys Dubrov, the Ukrainian national team (swimming) and Alexander Kosinov (judo).

Due to Friday’s breakout of the Ukraine in the medal standings, and the total number of awards included in the top 3, after China and the UK.
