The American film Academy has announced the list of foreign films are included in the list of nominees on the award “Oscar”. Currently, these include works from 85 countries of the world, but none of them are the disaster movie “Earthquake” that brought Armenia. The national film Academy of Armenia in this regard was received from the American film Institute list of claims, which, according to the Hollywood Academy, does not allow to nominate this picture for the award “Oscar”.

It is reported that the claims relate to the creative team of the film “Earthquake”, which, according to the American Academy, too many Russians and not the Armenians. In this regard, Hollywood Academy refused to nominate a picture for the award “Oscar” is not possible. The producers of “Earthquake” – Ruben Dishdishyan, Aram Movsesian, Ghevond Andreasyan, Sarik Andreasyan, and actors Victor Stepanyan, Hrant tokhatyan, Mikael Poghosyan, composer Hayk Hakobyan did not agree with this state of Affairs.
