Map of the Crimea from the candle will spread in Berlin to commemorate the victims of deportation of the Crimean Tatars.
At the Ukrainian Embassy in Germany organize events on the occasion of the anniversary of deportation of the Crimean Tatar people from the Peninsula by the Soviets in 1944.
In particular, the evening of 18 may at the Embassy scheduled themed photo exhibition, screening of a film about the Crimean Tatars and opposition to the occupation.
According to the organizers, after the event, the Embassy will host an action “light a candle in your heart”. With candles, I want to put the contour maps of the Crimea. Everyone is invited to join the action.
