The authoritative German publication reports that the novelty will be built on the base model Peugeot 3008.
However, in addition to platform similarities with the French car ends – the exterior and technical equipment of the model Meriva will be different.
Under the hood, the crossover will get either 3 or 4-cylinder American engine GM, which will be paired with an automatic transmission.
In addition to the powertrain, the novelty will get another development, General Motors – OnStar multimedia system.
The official debut of the new Opel Meriva will take place through the year at the auto show in Geneva.
