When people ask me what the Soviet system of education differs from the current Bologna, I’m not particularly acting smart, tell them this story, which fifteen years ago shared with me one of the teachers of the medical Institute.

In the end, in this Central African country, the main problem was not poverty with malaria who also had a flare twice a year epidemic bouquets of sexually transmitted diseases. The disease apparently was before, but before the advent of modern medicine on them too much attention, no one paid, and blamed all the symptoms on the machinations of sorcerers and evil spirits.
And here’s the Minister of health President of his country was given a specific task that he could not.
