The German company AP Works, owned by Airbus, unveiled an electric motorcycle printed on a 3D printer – Light Rider.

Total weight of Rider Light is 35 pounds. The bike is completely functional and comes in motion from gesticulating motor.

On a 3D printer printed out only the frame and the battery sector where it is installed and the power unit.

On a single charge the laptop can not drive more than 60 km, and its maximum speed is 80 km/h.

The authors of the idea have decided to release a limited edition 3D-motorcycles Light Rider, which will be not more than 50 pieces.

The cost of one copy will amount to approximately € 50 000.
