Golden flight with Olympic medalists landed at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport. The plane was late for 4 hours due to the delay in the Harbor of Rio de Janeiro.
At home the athletes were waiting for officials from the sport, admitted the IOC for the games, the fans and reporters.
“When our Olympians hit the audience with applause and approving shouts. Someone has altered her house posters and slogans specially for this occasion. The official voice of the ceremony was the commentator Dmitry Guberniev — he announced the names of the winners of the Olympic games for the fans,” he told about how he took athletes to the Moscow correspondent “URA.Ru”.

The ceremony lasted just over an hour. The head of the ROC Alexander Zhukov in his speech said that the Russian athletes performed brilliantly, despite the skeptical predictions:
“Our gold team, which under any conditions was able to represent Russia at this, probably the most difficult in recent years, the Olympics. They fought not only for us, but for those athletes who did not get to the Olympics.”
