The staff of the Odessa oil refinery established a checkpoint at the entrance to the enterprise territory.
On 19 September hundreds of refinery workers came to the rally, which adopted an appeal to President of Ukraine with a request to pay attention to the situation around the plant and prevent it from “further plundering”.
In addition, the company’s employees established a special checkpoint to keep out the refinery cars without appropriate permits.
“We believe that the plant simply stolen! We are not allowed into the territory. Therefore we set the checkpoint and imposed a permit regime, to prevent further plundering of property of the enterprise”, — say the participants of the picket.
They emphasize that for more than two years have not been paid, and the debt of the refinery in front of them exceeded the 50 million and continues to grow. In addition, workers urge President Poroshenko to achieve the restoration of the largest enterprises of Odessa region.
According to Executive Director of oil refining factory of Igor fischenko, Ukrtransnefteprodukt” gained control of the refinery due to two judicial decisions on the operational management of the enterprise and on the law of sale of fuel to absorb losses caused to the state by businessman Kurchenko). But the result, as noted by fishchenko, the plant simply captured, and the petroleum products stored at the plant, stealing, causing great damage to the state. Director refinery also stressed that the situation is close to critical: if at the time of stopping the enterprise in its tanks had more than 65 thousand tons of fuel, now pumping technical gas that threatens the company not just the accident, and the man-made disaster.
Law enforcement officers, according to workforce, many complaints did not react, and therefore the workers of the refinery decided to protect your plant yourself.
