Net loss (RAS) of joint stock company “RUSNANO” in the first half of the year increased 3.3 times compared to the same period last year and amounted to 8.3 billion rubles. On Monday, August 1, reports TASS with reference to the published report of the company.

 

In the first half of 2015, the company’s net loss was approximately 2.5 billion rubles. RUSNANO said that the loss was due to the strengthening of the ruble during the reporting period, and the decrease in interest income gave a net loss of 1.7 billion rubles from the placement of temporarily free funds in connection with a reduction in market rates of accommodation.

Revenue compared to the same period last year decreased by 19.4% to 0.7 billion and amounted to 2.9 billion rubles. This is due to less money received by the company from the outputs of the projects. Interest income of the company in the first half decreased by 47% to 1.9 billion and interest expenses rose 23%, to 7.9 billion rubles.

Previously, the chamber has proposed to prohibit the management of “RUSNANO” to obtain compensation for unprofitable projects from funds borrowed under the state guarantees. The Agency recognized half of the investment projects of the company is inefficient: it costs in the output of the eight projects brought the company a net loss of 13.1 billion rubles, stated in the message.
