The earthquake of a magnitude of 5.9 occurred off the coast of Chile, according to USGS.
The tremors were recorded the evening of October 27.
The epicenter was located 87 kilometers South-West of the city of San Antonio. The earthquake lies at a depth of 14.8 kilometers.
Information about the victims, casualties or damage were reported.
Earlier it was reported that in Italy there have been three earthquakes of magnitude 5,4, 5,9 and 4,6 with the space of a few hours.
