The police in the ATO area will be transplanted to SUVs. Soon part of the Ukrainian police started driving SUVs.
As noted by the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, the purchase of new vehicles has already been allocated 43 million. These funds will be purchased new SUVs for the police of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Brand of vehicles has not been announced yet, but it is possible that it is still about the crossover Toyota RAV4, the plans for which Ukrainian police voiced earlier.
“The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated an additional 43 million UAH. for the purchase of jeeps for the police force in the area of ATO in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions”, – said Avakov.
Earlier it was reported that in the framework of the Kyoto agreement for the police of Ukraine will be purchased hybrid SUVs Toyota RAV4, but this initiative was part of the programme of action of the government under the leadership of ex-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
