“The agenda is not what it was stated by the Secretary-General of NATO on 6 July, it was agreed between NATO and Russia. NATO Secretary General on 6 July stated that the discussion will focus on the crisis in and around Ukraine and the need for full implementation of the Minsk agreements, as well as military activity, with a focus on transparency and risk reduction, as well as the security situation in Afghanistan,” said NATO spokesman.
He also reminded that NATO Secretary General at a press conference in Warsaw on July 8, said that the meeting will also provide an opportunity “to inform Russia of decisions that we (NATO countries – ed.) adopted at the summit”.
The meeting of the NATO Council and Russia will be held on July 13, and yesterday it was reported that Moscow expects explanations on NATO enlargement.
