The American company for the study of public opinion, the Gallup Institute has released a ranking of the most generous countries in the world.
The experts conducted a survey of more than 145 thousand citizens from over 140 countries, asking respondents to indicate how often they give money to charity, reported on the official website of the company.
The study revealed that the most generous were the people of Myanmar, 91 percent of which is donated to the needy in the past month. In second place is Indonesia, with targets of 75 percent, and the third is Australia with an index of 73 percent.
Among the least generous were China, Yemen and Morocco, where the number of citizens donating does not exceed six percent. Among the population of Ukraine is about 34% of people regularly give money to charity.
