The Central dispatch service of GUP mosvodostok has already received 72 applications on pools of water due to heavy rain in Moscow, reported “Interfax” the press service of the company on Friday.
“The pumping of water more than half of the applications completed,” – said the Agency interlocutor.
The press service reminded that due to adverse weather conditions around the clock transferred 318 brigades “Mosvodostok” consisting of 953 workers and 213 units of special equipment.
On Friday, the Metropolitan Directorate of the MES reported that the bad weather will remain in Moscow until Saturday morning.
“According to weather forecasts before 06:00 on 20 August in Moscow places will remain a thunderstorm with rain, strong winds during the storm with gusts up to 12-17 meters per second,” – said the Agency “Interfax”.
Because of the strong wind damage to power lines, partial felling of trees, damage to poorly fortified and large format advertising structures, leading to congestion on the roads, damage to vehicles, increase of injuries. The storm possible damage from lightning strikes objects that are not equipped with a lightning protection system, said management.
