In Moscow in the framework of the project “KARO.Art” from 4 to 9 October, a Festival of Brazilian cinema, and residents of St. Petersburg the opportunity to see films of the festival will come from 11 to 16 October. Just a few days, the audience had the opportunity to see the best of new Brazilian cinema that have won awards at various film festivals over the last year. In the program of the festival includes 13 paintings: 11 feature films and two documentaries.
Moscow hosted the IX Brazilian film festival
The Moscow part of the festival opened October 4, drama Director Roberto Berliner “Bottom – heart of madness” which tells the story of a Brazilian psychiatrist the Bottom de Silveira, who worked in 40-ies of XX century. In the story the main character, trying to introduce new methods of treatment of mental illness, makes his patients the brightest representatives of contemporary art. Also, the audience had the opportunity to see on the big screen animated film “the Boy and the world”, nominated for the award “Oscar” this year, and also won the award for “Annie” and several award-winning animation Festival in Annecy.
