Police in Somalia have reported 15 dead and 25 wounded in the attack, the radical Islamist group Al-Shabab on a hotel in Mogadishu.

Most of the dead and wounded are civilians — passers-by and customers of nearby shops and automobile filling stations, said a police spokesman Mohamed Abdulkadir. He also said that the shootout with the militants still continues.

Accurate information about liquidated or wounded militants was not reported.
