At least 44 people died as a result of heavy rains and landslides caused by tropical storm Earl in the East of Mexico.
Governor of Puebla Rafael Moreno Valle confirmed the death of 32 local residents. The authorities do not exclude that the death toll could rise as the rubble continues.
Up to 12 people has also increased the number of victims in the state of Veracruz. According to the Governor Javier Duarte, more than 1.2 thousand people were forced to leave their homes.
