Element threatens ten States.
The national service of civil defense of Mexico declared an emergency in ten States of the country in connection with the approach of tropical storm “Daniel”.
The Ministry reported that anxiety of different degrees declared in Veracruz, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Hidalgo, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Campeche, Tabasco, Chiapas and Oaxaca. The greatest fear among experts is the situation in Veracruz, as the storm formed off the coast of California.
“Daniel” was formed in the Atlantic ocean about 150 kilometers from the city of Tuxpan, the wind gusts reached 65 miles per hour. According to forecasters, the storm is moving North-West at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour.
A tropical storm is named, when the speed of the accompanying wind reaches 62 miles per hour. The storm becomes a hurricane when wind speed exceeds 119 kilometers per hour.
