Moscow is considering the options of response to the attempt of the Ukrainian intelligence to organize sabotage in the Crimea, discussing the possibility of rupture of diplomatic relations between the two countries, writes the newspaper “Izvestia” citing a source in the Russian foreign policy community.

“Izvestia” write that in response Moscow may close the Russian Embassy in Kiev and to withdraw all diplomats.
“One of the possible options for the hard answer may be the severance of diplomatic relations. In Moscow, this variant worked. However last word remains for the head of state, who will make the decision based on the data collected,” said a source.
“With regard to the rupture of diplomatic relations is a prerogative of the President. But Moscow needs to review its relations with Kyiv in view of recent events”, — explained the “Izvestia” Deputy head of the international Committee of the Federation Council Vladimir Jabbarov.
The Ukrainian government still has not approved the candidacy of the new Ambassador, the interests of Moscow in the country is a temporary attorney Sergei Toropov.
