It was developed by Local Motors, which in 2014 created the first car in the world printed on a 3D printer.

The new vehicle uses 30 sensors, including radar, LIDAR systems and cameras that gather information about the bus space. The processing meets the supercomputer Watson of IBM that forms the optimal route and the trajectory of Olli.

Representatives of the company Local Motors plan to use unmanned Olli bus to move workers to the corporate areas, as well as for the transportation of students within campuses. In addition, the company believes that Olli will play a role in the transport systems of cities in the future. Passengers will be able to catch the bus at predetermined stops or call the Olli with the app for smartphones.

It is worth noting that the unmanned bus, Olli is able to perceive and process human speech thanks to the software, which includes several different systems of voice recognition. The developers of Olli say that passengers will be able to communicate with the bus in the usual way. Thus, during the trip, passengers will be able to inquire the bus, why in a certain situation he takes any decision. In addition, speech recognition will allow you to set the destination for the bus trip Olli.

As previously reported, unmanned vehicles by Google during the test has passed more than 480 thousand kilometers.
