“Business as usual” in relations of Russia with the countries of the European Union can not be, said the Minister of foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov at the meeting with Russian representatives of non-profit organizations.
According to Lavrov, Moscow is usually trying to impose arrangements, interaction schemes without taking into account Russian interests. “This era is already long gone”, — quotes the Minister RIA Novosti.
Earlier Sergey Lavrov said that Russia intends to build a business relationship with a strong European Union. The foreign Minister also pointed out that the EU sanctions “cause enormous damage to the economies of the countries of the European Union, created to destroy many years of communication between business and which contribute to stability and confidence in Europe, in fact creating new dividing lines between the countries.”
