Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova became the winner of tournament WTA Premier 5 in Wuhan (China).
In the final of the tournament Kvitova in just 63 minutes defeated Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia – champion of Weldona made six breaks and only once lost a game on his serve.
On the way to his first title of the season Kvitova lost only one set. Czech consistently beat Jelena Ostapenko, Elina Svitolina, the first racket of the world, Angelique Kerber, Johann Conte, Simona Halep, and in the final not noticed Cibulkova.
Kvitova, the sixth time in his career won the tournament WTA Premier and became the first double champion of the Wuhan Open. Victory in Wuhan brought the Czech 18th singles title in his career.
For the victory in Wuhan, Petra Kvitova has earned 471 thousand dollars in prize money and 900 ranking points. Czech next week will be the 11-th racket of the world and will significantly increase your chances of getting to the Final of the WTA tournament.
