Киев заявил об отказе ПАСЕ менять регламент для РФ

This decision is not yet final – the Russian proposal to take part in the debate the political groups of the PACE.

The Bureau of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has refused to change the regulations of the Assembly at the request of the Russians, said the head of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE Vladimir Aryev in Facebook.

Earlier, Russia, whose delegation excluded from participation in PACE, demanded to change the procedure of confirmation of powers of the national delegations. In particular, they wanted the decision to dismiss the delegation took 20 people and a third of all present or 20 percent of the total number of members of the Assembly.

In addition, Russia demanded instead of monitoring countries to carry out “monitoring cases”, i.e. cases and adopt resolutions only if the hall PACE will attend at least half of the delegates.

“Protests on the eve of the Ukrainian delegation of the PACE Bureau worked. Now, the Bureau has abandoned the idea of promoting illegitimate and quick procedure for changing the rules of the Assembly in favor of Russia”, – he wrote.

In this case Aryev added that this decision is not yet final, the Russian proposal will be brought up for debate in the political groups of the PACE.

“And depending on the results, the issue will be discussed at the PACE Bureau on Friday. But under the circumstances planned by Pro-Russian lobbyists blitzkrieg becomes almost impossible. So they start talking about a political moratorium on the objections of the delegations powers (read Russia), which is purely declarative and against which we must fight in the dialogue during the session,” he added.

Earlier, PACE said that Kyiv should engage in dialogue with LDNR.

It was also reported that Ukraine is ready to boycott the PACE, if Europe recognize the Crimean elections in the state Duma of Russia.
