Ukrainian Minister of culture Yevhen Nyshchuk said in an interview with the Agency “UKRINFORM” that specified by Planck Stockholm, the Eurovision song contest is extremely high and requires huge investments.
According to the head of the Ministry of culture of Ukraine, the winning country of Eurovision in 2016 is counting on financial assistance from Europe in preparation for the contest next year.
Yevhen Nyshchuk noted that Ukraine is obliged to hold “Eurovision” at a high level, not inferior to European capitals, in which the competition was held in previous years. To spend on carrying out of “Eurovision” budget Ukraine does not want and intends to host a show on the money of European investors.
But the most important is to ensure the safety of spectators and participants, said Yevhen Nyshchuk.
“We need to show that we are not afraid to go, and what we can invest,” – said the Minister of culture of Ukraine.
Likely the venue of “Eurovision” in 2017 Nischuk described the sports complex “Olympic” in Kiev.
Recall that in 2016, the Ukrainian singer Jamal won the “Eurovision” with a song “1944”, dedicated to the deportation of the Crimean Tatars.
