The company Kia has published the first teaser video Kia Soul with the technology of Autonomous driving. The concept will receive the prefix in the name of the First Class and will be unveiled at SEMA in November this year.
The prototype is missing the steering wheel. The system of Autonomous driving includes computers, cameras, radars and sensors that will monitor the traffic situation. In the interior of the car is installed the front seats are deployed in the opposite direction, and a 40-inch display and expensive sound system. Access to all vehicle functions is performed with two tablets. The car body is painted in blue, and the grille is illuminated with LEDs. Also the car has received 19-inch wheels.
Earlier this year, Kia announced the launch of a new brand Drive Wise. By this name merged all the currently high-tech driver assistance system (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, ADAS). It is planned that the first production cars equipped with ADAS systems, will be produced in 2020 and 2030, Kia plans to launch the first unmanned car brand. The basis of Autonomous vehicles will be the technology of interaction and data exchange between vehicles (Vehicle to Vehicle, V2V), vehicles and infrastructure (Vehicle to Infrastructure, V2I) and vehicles with any other objects (Vehicle to Everything, V2X).
