Technical specs are still kept secret. A ruler of motors will open a 1.2-litre petrol unit. The engine power will range from 75 to 84 horsepower. Also the novelty will be available with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine with recoil 100 horsepower. In addition, customers will be offered a 1.0-liter petrol turbo engine with three cylinders. The same engine is now being installed on the CEE’d GT, where its impact is 100 and 120 horsepower.
The car will be available with 1.1-litre CRDi diesel engine. The capacity of the unit will be 75 horsepower. The more expensive version will complement the 1.4-liter diesel engine with recoil 90 horsepower.
Kia also plans to develop a sports version of the Rio hatchback new generation. The car will receive the prefix GT in the title. The exact date of the appearance of the model is not yet known. It is expected that the debut of the “charged” modification will take place three years after the premiere of the standard version. The main competitor of the car will be a Ford Fiesta ST.
