U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry assured the public that the United States are irrelevant to the current scandal in the Olympic games, which by competition are not made part of the Russian athletes.
“For US does not matter who participates in the Olympic games and who is not. In the disqualification of Russian athletes from the Olympics there is no policy. All this applies to the sports component. You should not look for all the scandals of the hand of America,” Kerry said in a broadcast on American television.
Kerry also said that WADA is an independent Agency and the US does not have on it no influence.
“WADA is an independent organization whose specific influence. Decisions in this organization are competent people who are almost never wrong,” said Kerry.
