Kazakh artist has recreated “the Dance” by Matisse on the wall of the building

The entire end wall of one of the buildings of the Kazakh town of Temirtau was decorated with graffiti reimagined masterpiece of French artist Henri Matisse’s “the Dance”. It is reported by Kazakh portal Tengrinews.kz.

Painted graffiti street art-artist Pasha CAS. The Central part of the composition became a huge black pipe, around which, actually, was the dance.

A photograph of his next creations, the artist has shared on the page in Instagram. There is also a remark of the author that such an extraordinary way he wanted to demonstrate the illusory power of those who sit “on the pipe” over those around her is dancing.

“In Temirtau steelworks corrode all life on the vine: not so long ago, environmentalists took samples of soil on five playgrounds were installed and the excess of lead five times above normal! All are silent!”, — adds the artist.

Pasha Kas known in Kazakhstan as a master of the outrageous. In January 2014, the media wrote that the artist staged a “drying pant” in front of the akimat of Almaty with the inscription “Year of culture”. Installation photo spread in social networks and caused a heated debate.

“Dance” is one of the most significant paintings in the works Matisse created between the years 1908-1913 under the impression of the ritual and possibly even idolatrous dancing.
