The acting head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov called on the Russians to support voting for the picture of the mosque “Heart of Chechnya”, which is located in Grozny, the new banknotes with denomination of 200 rubles. On Tuesday, June 21, he wrote in his Instagram.
“The capital of the Chechen Republic symbolizes a new Russia, its revival, courage, fortitude and the will of the peoples of our multinational Motherland — Russia”, — said Kadyrov. According to him, the capital of the Republic became “the city of peace, stability, interethnic harmony and friendship.” He also noted that the “terrible known worldwide as the capital of the Chechen Republic, won the support of the Federal centre of international terrorism.”
On 12 April the Chairman of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina said that in 2017, the turnover will be introduced banknotes in denominations of 200 and 2,000 rubles. The design of the new banknotes has not yet been determined, it will select the public discussion.
