Japan Display has created a fully frameless display for smartphones

Japanese company Japan Display announced the creation of the world’s first fully frameless touch screen for mobile communications. Of course, the scope of it is still there, as seen in the photo, but their thickness does not exceed a few millimeters, so they can be neglected.

Your new screen Japan Display he called the name of the Full Active Display, and the lack of frames around the perimeter is a consequence of the use of unique proprietary technologies used to build the module and high-density mounting, which, of course, are kept strictly secret. In terms of specifications the new screen is not outstanding, as it supports far not the highest resolution Full HD or 1920×1080 pixels, but its coolness is in almost complete absence of side frames, which, coupled with a curved glass 2.5 D, so I love Chinese smartphone manufacturers, can be fully offset.

Therefore, ready mobile phones with the new touch screen from Japan Display will be more compact than its competitors while maintaining the diagonal of the screen component, in this case, 5.5 inch. Display note, not a conceptual Assembly line, production will be launched in the first quarter of next year. The transition to the use of this screen will allow smartphone developers to reconsider the design of their products, to make it more original and innovative.
