Jamal will be part of the jury at the Eurovision song contest-2017

Джамала будет в составе жюри на Евровидение-2017Singer Jamala, which this year brought Ukraine the victory at the Eurovision song contest, entered the jury of the national selection for the Eurovision song contest in 2017.

This was stated by the head of the national selection Natalia Franchuk, reports UNN, citing the press service of the First national TV channel.

“We are very pleased that the second member of the jury was Jamal. By and large, another candidate could not be. First, it was Jamal brought victory to Ukraine at the Eurovision song contest in 2016, second, it will be able to share the experience of participation in the contest and prepare the participant to repeat its success “, – said N. Franchuk.

Jamala’s presence in the jury of the national selection to encourage artists to participate in the contest, I’m sure the CEO of National television company of Ukraine Zurab Alasania.

“Jamal agreed to be in the jury of the national selection for the Eurovision song contest in 2017. It would seem that a logical step, what to think about it, isn’t it? Not so. Logical is the invitation of the Ukrainian Crimean Tatar singer in the jury of the national selection, which is the second time in a partnership conducting channels UA and First STB. But the consent of Jamala, who after winning the Eurovision song contest in 2016 was literally a world star, suggests that she remained the same JHA, a girl with an open and sincere heart. I am sure that the judge is a real winner, which represents the embodied dream, to encourage the cool bands and talented artists that abound in our country, to participate in the contest and inspire the contestants to give our best “, – says the head of NTU.

We will remind, the national selection for Eurovision-2017 was launched on 1 September. The first member of the jury of the contest was music producer and composer Konstantin Meladze.
