Iran’s President accused global leaders in the spread of terrorism

According to the leader of Iran, the spread of terrorism has made the world less safe.

Speaking at the UN General Assembly on 22 September Rouhani said that “repression and military intervention” of countries he did not name, were the reasons for the spread of terror.

Hassan Rouhani urged Saudi Arabia, which is a rival of Iran in the region, to “stop illegal actions” in the middle East.

“If Saudi Arabia is committed to development and regional security, it must stop policies leading to the split, the spread of the ideology of hatred and humiliation of the rights of their neighbors,” said Rouhani.

Note the relationship between Shiite Iran and Sunni Saudi Arabia have deteriorated, in particular, against the background of support by the Tehran regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Iran and Saudi Arabia also support different sides in the conflict in Yemen.
