According to the materials of the security Service of Ukraine, the Interpol has detained Ukrainian agrobusinessmen appropriated 20 million hryvnias of public funds when he tried to enter Serbia. This reports the press service of the SBU in Facebook.
The name of the businessman is not called.
“The founder and owner of local agricultural producers of Cherkasy region signed a 2014 contract with the grain operator “State food and grain Corporation of Ukraine”. Farmers received nearly 20 million UAH for the purchase from them of the grain of the future harvest”, – said in the message.
Security officers have established that the agricultural enterprise has not supplied within the stipulated period, the businessman embezzled the public money and long time in hiding abroad. In the framework of criminal proceedings opened under part 5 of article 191 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, the businessman was declared in the international wanted list and detained by Interpol.
