A month before the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro analysts “Infostrada Sports” presented the updated estimated medal standings upcoming Games.
The expected list of the Ukrainian medalists at the summer Olympic games as follows:
Gold: Oleg Verniaiev (gymnastics), Elena Kostevich (bullet shooting), Julia weaver (wrestling), Jean Belenus (Greco-Roman wrestling), Olga Harlan (fencing), men’s team of Ukraine on fencing on swords.
Silver: Bohdan Bondarenko (high jump) women’s team of Ukraine on fencing saber, Oleg Verniaiev and Igor Radivilov (both gymnastics).
Bronze: Anna Kasyanova (all-around), Dmitry zamotaev (Boxing), Oleg Verniaiev (gymnastics), Anna Rizatdinova (gymnastics), Jacob Hammo (judo), Pavel Timoshenko (modern all-around), Oleg Omelchuk (bullet shooting), Andrey Govorov (swimming) Lolita Pineapple and Anna Voloshina (synchronized swimming), women’s national team of Ukraine in synchronized swimming, Julia (weightlifting), Alexander Chernetsky and Dimitry Timchenko (both Greco-Roman wrestling).
It is expected that this set will bring Ukraine in 16th place in the medal standings of the Olympics. The most successful sporting nation in Rio de Janeiro should be the Americans who are predicting 41 gold award.
