In Warsaw a rally against the government

В Варшаве митингуют против правительстваIn Warsaw the anti-government rally.

On Saturday, may 7, in the Polish capital Warsaw held just two rallies: against Pravitelstva and the action of nationalists.

The number of participants in anti-government March in Warsaw reached almost 250 thousand people. Meanwhile supporters of the policy of the government has collected only about 2,500 participants.

Participants protest against the policy of the national-conservative government of the party “law and justice” support the European integration of Poland. The protesters also expressed opposition to legislative innovations, which complicated the work of the constitutional court of Poland, expanded police powers, and strengthened control over the state media.

The rally was held under the slogan “We are and will be in Europe,” protesters also chanted “We are defending democracy and the Constitution”.

The rally was attended by former President Bronislaw Komorowski. “We’re here because we want to fight for freedom and democracy in Poland”, – said the ex-President.

At the same time about 2,500 nationalists and supporters provocatrices groups protested against the interference of the EU in Polish politics and against of Poland’s membership in the EU. This protest began under the slogan: “the Courage of Poland”.
