The project is in its final stages and it will present in Kiev in October.
Zaporozhye company “InfoCom LTD” has announced the first Ukrainian autopilot Pilotdrive, which shall be capable of without the driver to move the vehicle along the optimal route.
Reportedly, the developers intend to formally submit the autopilot in October 2016. Pilotdrive is a system of unmanned vehicle control, where it is possible to equip any car.
Software developed entirely by the engineers of the “InfoCom”, the hardware is purchased abroad (America, Germany, China). Pilotdrive uses to aim the camera, sensors, radar and the imager, and recognizes a road marking, the width of the road, focused on the road.
Pilotdrive sensors have 360 degree coverage, sensory systems detect traffic signs, pedestrians and animals on the roadway. Working system intend to introduce in October at the exhibition “Arms and security 2016” in Kiev.
On the basis of car KRAZ has created a demonstration Spartan, which will demonstrate to the public the possibilities of the Ukrainian autopilot.
