The mayor of the Istanbul district of Kadikoy Aykurt Nuhoglu sanctioned the installation of a monument, after the Internet is accessed has been signed by over 17 thousand people. “Initially, the sculpture was made from clay, but then was attached bronze base. Since it is open, then the sculpture should be made of sturdy material. That’s why we decided to use bronze, – said the artist. – To work on this sculpture I had to carefully study books on animal anatomy. In addition, as a model, I used the cat my friends, which is very similar to Tambili”.
