In the Lausanne negotiations on Syria behind closed doors

In Lausanne, Switzerland for more than three hours ongoing Ministerial talks on settling the situation in Syria. The meeting was held behind closed doors at the luxury hotel Beau Rivage.

In the talks attended by U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry, Russian foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the special envoy of the UN Secretary General on Syria Staffan de Mistura, as well as Ministers of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq.

The grounds of the hotel where the meeting is held, cordoned off, access to the interior of the hotel has only a couple of dozen journalists, however, and those are periodically asked to leave the lobby, despite the existence of special identities. It is still unknown will the Ministers on the negotiations to the press.

As previously stated the Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov, the parties will discuss the possibility of a resumption of the cease-fire in Syria.
