It’s not just about Lithuania, it is about all countries and, in General, about global security, said foreign Minister of Latvia.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius called Russia superproblems.
In particular, the Minister noted that EU and NATO must respond promptly and to respond to the aggressive actions of Russia and added that the last time such steps were mostly late.
“When we talk about the troubled countries first comes to mind is not a superpower Russia, and superproblem Russia. It is important to respond in a timely manner and not wait until it is too late, that sometimes happens. It’s not just about Lithuania, it is about all countries and, in General, about world security. It concerns the values that we stand for,” said Linkevičius.
“Someone is trying to redraw the boundaries. And it’s not the first time the same thing happened in Georgia in 2008”, – the Minister added, Recalling the situation in Syria and Ukraine.
