In the Internet appeared the petition, which the author asks the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to defend Fedor Emelianenko from persecution for criticism of children’s fights, which took place in Grozny. Previously, some athletes had heckled the head of the Union of MMA Russia.
In the text document created in defense, Emelianenko indicated that the Russian fighter is a “great athlete” and a “model of male behavior and of the iron age”. Therefore, according to the author of the petition, Emelianenko did not deserve such abuse.
“He doesn’t deserve such abuse just because he is President of the MMA Union of Russia, drew attention to the violation of the rules of competition, – said in the petition. – I Hope You (Vladimir Putin. – Approx. ed.) will intervene and protect the athlete from attacks and harassment”.
