In Crimea going to erect a monument to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Thus Crimeans want to thank the Russian leader for Homecoming. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea on issues of government and local self-government Sergey Shuvaynikov.
“People come in and say, we have so many “heroes” has become, especially spring and only hero, whom everyone respects, is the President of Russia. It’s not for the sake of praises, and sincerely – because without his will, without his decision nothing, of course, has not moved”, – said Shuvaynikov.
The official noted that the decision on installation of a monument the President will be considered at the meeting of the Congress of Russian communities of Crimea.
“Think about it, maybe this initiative will play, and the 3-year anniversary of the return of the Crimea in structure of Russia will put a monument to Vladimir Putin from the people of the Crimea”, – said the Deputy Chairman.
Sergey Shuvaynikov prepared for the possibility that this initiative may cause a negative reaction, but I am sure that the residents of the Crimea will not pay attention to it.
“It’s important that the President has done for us. We understand that the attitude may be different, but people are sincere grateful to him, he has the highest rating in the Crimea. It needs to be acknowledged. You can criticize him for something, but the fact is that unlike Yeltsin, as we had not been accessed, now everything is done clearly, correctly. When you feel the support for a strong state and a strong leader, it is easier to live and work”, – said Shuvaynikov.
