In turn, the Agency assured that the felled trees were planted or will be planted new, and to monitor illegal felling, say they have already begun to implement a system of electronic chips on every tree.

Earlier UNIAN reported that in Transcarpathia cut down the beech forest, a UNESCO world heritage site. It is noted that under the auspices of the state forestries and the support of local authorities ruthlessly hunted down unique forests, which have no analogues in the whole Europe. This legally harvested wood is exported.
