The company “United instrument manufacturing Corporation” (hereinafter “ADK”) is developing a new portable computers, specially designed for military and characterized by ultra-high-strength body that ordinary laptops could ever dream of. Look at the photos, and all will become clear — imprinted on it the laptop more like a portable metal safe, powerful and monolithic as it looks.
New laptops from military “defense” has no name yet, but it already has unique features: data mobile PC can withstand drops from very high altitude, vibration, shock and much more, including water. In addition, they can be used in extreme, not only for technology, but also for people conditions, for example, at 40 degrees Fahrenheit or 50 degrees of heat.
The list of features of laptops produced by “MIC” not all published yet, but the manufacturer announces the availability of the battery for 8 hours of work, receivers GPS and GLONASS, four USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and VGA outputs, as well as a processor with an unknown number of cores and 3.5 GHz. The laptops are based on the operating system Astra Linux with a high level of protection against cyber attacks and information theft through a number of hardware and software technologies. “Defense” intends to start production of notebook computers in the second quarter of this year, but have not yet called their cost. Their competitors will be protected laptop series Panasonic Toughbook or similar.
