The Eurovision song contest-2017 want to send Cord.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin believes that in the next music competition “Eurovision” which will take place in 2017 in Ukraine, Russia should be the leader of group “Leningrad” Sergey Shnurov.
“To win will not win, but somewhere all will send them,” — said the Deputy Chairman of the Russian government.
The idea is to choose Shnurov as a participant from Russia on “the Eurovision” is not new. So, in 2014 change.org collected signatures to send the leader of the “Leningrad” for this contest. A petition with a proposal signed by nine thousand users, but at last year’s “Eurovision” was sent Polina Gagarina song “A Million Voices”, subsequently took the second place.
Recall that in the final of “Eurovision 2016” Ukrainian singer Jamala with a song “1944” about the deportation of Crimean Tatars took the first place. By results of voting it has received 534 points: 211 points from the jury and 323 points on the basis of SMS voting of the audience.
The second place winner took Australia – 511, the third – Russia, with 491 score.
Thus in the text-message voting by the audience from Ukraine gave 12 points to Russia. The Russians appreciated the performance of Jamala in 10 points.
