Football player arrested for refusing to take the Alcotest.
Midfielder of the national team of Slovakia Vladimir Weiss run into a serious scandal. Famous football player was arrested at home on the eve of the qualifiers for the 2018 world Cup.
The incident took place in Bratislava. 26-year-old player was arrested for refusing to take the Alcotest and blood test after he was stopped by traffic police.
Because of what happened, Weiss will be forced to miss the next games of the national team against Scotland and Slovenia. This was stated by the head coach of Slovakia Jan Kozak.
“We failed to contact Weiss. His lawyer said he will arrive in the national team soon. I’ll talk to him. Regardless of whether he’s innocent or not, Weiss will not play in the next two matches. We need to work in a peaceful environment. Let’s see what will be the result, only then will be made some conclusions”, – said Kozak.
