On the territory of the former ZIL plant after reconstruction of streets named after avant-garde artists, architects and constructivists, reports “Interfax”. This was announced at a meeting of the Presidium of the Moscow government, Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
The decision to give the streets the names of artists accepted by results of session of the city interdepartmental Commission on the name of territorial units, streets, the Moscow metro stations, organizations and other objects of Moscow, said the news Agency.
The names will get 14 nameless streets and design of driveways. On the city map will appear the promenade Marc Chagall, Schuseva, Kandinsky, Rodchenko, Tatlin.
As part of the renovation on the territory of the ZIL will pave 20 kilometers of new roads. Construction will begin this year and will be completed in the next three years. For the implementation of the project will be co-financed from the city budget and private investments. Complete reconstruction of the industrial zone is 10 years.
