The volcano ASO on the Japanese island of Kyushu began erupting on the night of 8 October. It is reported Xinhua citing the Meteorological Agency of Japan.
“The volcano emits ash plumes to an altitude of 11 thousand meters”, – stated in the message. Information about victims did not arrive yet.
Meteorological Agency of Japan has raised the severity of the eruption until the third on a five-point scale, which means control over the approach to the foot of the volcano.
Experts noted that it is unknown whether the eruption of a volcano with an earthquake that occurred in April in Kumamoto Prefecture.
