In Japan on 78-m to year of life has died the first woman in the world to have climbed Everest, Junko Tabei.

It is noted that a woman died in a hospital in Saitama Prefecture on October 20. For many years she fought with cancer.
The funeral was attended by only immediate family.

Tabei Junko became the first woman in the world to set foot on the summit of mount Everest on 16 may 1975. Also Tabei was the first woman, who climbing the seven highest peaks of various continents. She was awarded the highest order of the Kingdom of Nepal.

As reported, in may it became known that the Everest has conquered first the Ukrainian.
