At Hannover airport on Sunday were canceled dozens of flights, because engineers found on its territory the American bomb during the Second world war.
“The city Council in Langenhagen, where the airport is located, said that the experts found and defused a 250-pound American bomb”, – stated in the message.
The operation was initiated by local authorities after the experts have found the magnetic interference on two sections of the airport. During the bomb disposal experts have blocked the site with a radius of 1000 meters, and 54 flight sent to other airports.
