Unique transplant surgery of the head will be held in Germany.
Italian surgeon Sergio Canavero, preparing to conduct the world’s first head transplant, said that it will take place in Germany.
The doctor did not give an exact date, however, suggests that the transplantation will take place “closer to Christmas” (apparently, this refers to father Christmas, i.e., December 2017).
To participate in the project, which was called “Heaven,” volunteered a programmer from Russia Valery Spiridonov. Man suffers from disease, Werding-Hoffman. Because of her, he’s confined to a wheelchair and is almost completely devoid of the ability to move independently.
